Covid-19 Update January 3rd, 2022

Dear Families,
We hope you had a restful holiday and were able to spend time with your loved ones. As we welcome students back into our classrooms from a well-deserved winter break, our highest priority continues to be the health and safety of our students, families, and staff. To this end, we are putting additional health and safety measures in place to ensure students and staff are safe and that our schools can continue to be open.

Advocacy Skills for Families

Learn how to speak up for your child with a disability. Become your child’s best advocate and get them the support and services they need in any situation, including in school, in the community, and with healthcare.

Holiday Attendance

Dear Parents,
Are you planning a family trip for the holidays? As you
think about your arrangements, we want to stress the
importance of sending your child to school every day.

Parent Teacher Conferences

A parent-teacher conference is a short meeting between you and your child’s teacher to talk about your child’s academic performance and experience at school.

These meetings help you understand what your child is learning at school, their progress both academically and social-emotionally, and what you can do to support them. If your child is having particular difficulties, parent-teacher conferences also give you and the teacher time to plan how you can both help them best.

As in the past school year, all parent-teacher conferences will be conducted remotely for the 2021-22 school year. Meetings with parents/caregivers may, upon request, occur in-person on a mutually agreeable date and time.
