Assemblymember Kenny Burgos is excited to announce the First Annual Starlight Festival in collaboration with Bronx River Alliance to celebrate the revitalization of the Bronx River Ecosystem, thanks to the efforts of The Bronx River Alliance and community members. Join us on Saturday, May 13, from 12 pm-3 pm. With the opening of Phase II of Starlight Park, which now connects with Concrete Plant Park. The beautification of the Starlight Park brings environmental justice to an area that once was plagued by industrial pollution and connects communities in the South Bronx.
Thanks to The Department of Environmental Protection, there will be free Rain Barrels that Homeowners or Community Gardens can obtain. Still, they must RSVP by calling our office or scan the QR on the flyer to reserve one.
